How do I use Go!Messenger in a public wireless hotspot?
Answer.
If you wish to access Go!Messenger in a public WiFi hotspot, you will need to configure the Network connection to open the browser window upon startup (to allow you to login).
  1. Go to Network Settings, Infrastructure mode & select your Hotspot connection
  2. Step through the configuration until you reach Address Settings & choose Custom
  3. Step across until you reach Internet Browser & select Start
  4. Step across until you can save the settings & click X
When you start the Go!Messenger client & wish to use a public hotspot, you should follow the next steps.
  1. Select the SSID you wish (eg BTOpenzone)
  2. The browser window will pop open and you will be taken to the login page of that service provider.
  3. Enter your account details if you have them, or purchase a voucher (either online or at the hotspot location).
Note: To return to Go!Messenger press the O button.
