You can only invite one contact to each Text Chat, but you can have multiple Text Chat conversations with different contacts open at the same time.

To start:

1. Make sure that you are on the main “Text Chat” screen.
2. Scroll left/right to move across the tabs on the top of the screen.
3. Within any blank tab you can start a new Text Chat (tabs with active chats will name the contact’s nickname with whom you are chatting).

To switch between multiple chats:

1. You have to press O to switch from one Text Chat to another.
2. From the “Options” menu, press X to type your message. A keyboard will appear on pressing the X.

To leave the chat:

1. Press O
2. then select “Leave Chat” from the “Options” menu
3. Press X and the chat will then be deleted.
