I have changed my password for Go!Messenger, and now when I try to log in it keeps failing, saying my password is incorrect – “authentication failed”.
Answer.
If you get an authentication failure on the PSP after a change of password you should manually reactivate. This can be done by pressing the left shoulder button, scroll down to “Settings” on the left hand menu. Select “Reactivate Account”.
If the reactivation continues to fail, switch the PSP off and then on again and retry with the new password.
Passwords can be changed online via your PC / computer at the Go!Messenger “Your Account” website https://gomessenger.bt.com/gmp/login.do?action=selfcare
